CHF PROVIDES GRANT FUNDS TO HELP HOMEBUYERS PURCHASE A HOME

(CALIFORNIA) CHF is pleased to announce a new down payment assistance program available to low-to-moderate income homebuyers in California, the CHF Platinum Program.

The Program (which is not limited to first-time homebuyers) provides a grant, sized at 3% of the Mortgage Loan amount. The grant funds can be used towards the homebuyer’s down payment and/or eligible closing costs on a 30-year fixed-rate full amortization FHA, VA or USDA Mortgage Loan.

The Program is available for the purchase of owner occupied single-family residence, agency-approved condominium or planned unit development (PUD) located in the state of California.

CRHMFA (California Rural Home Mortgage Finance Authority) Homebuyers Fund—or CHF—is a govenment entity that provides homebuyers with mortgage loan programs featuring low interest rates and downpayment and/or closing cost assistance. Over the course of 16 years since its founding, CHF has issued more than $1.8 billion in taxable bonds, $820 million in tax-exempt bonds, provided more than $6 million in grants, and helped nearly 37,000 families and individuals to purchase homes.
